About Jake

Jake was featured a few years ago as one of Happy's puppies, a dog that was adopted by the Cougar family. All of Happy's puppies were adopted out to familes, but a year later, Jake returned to us when his family had to move and couldn't take him with. We glady welcomed him back with hope of finding his true forever home. This 60 pounder's perfect day would be an afternoon of hiking and catching frisbees in the air, followed by a night snuggling with his owners.

His Perfect Match

Jake is a true athlete and deserves someone just as adventurous and active. Jake would do best in a house with older children or adults only. He also has slight dominance issues with other male dogs and would prefer to be an only child.

As with all of our rescues, Jake has been neutered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Approved applicants pay an adoption fee of $25.00 that contributes to rescue services.
