Angel was rescued from the Albequrque Animal Control when she was younger. Because of her skittish personality and nervousness around people, we felt she would never make a good pet, and so brought her to our sanctuary. It might also be possible that she was previously abused, considering her initial fear of humans. |

Angel is skittish around new people, but if you spend enough time with her, she will warm up to you. Sudden movements will make her jump, and she might get nervous if you try and pet her. However, she does love the attention, and if you spend your time with another animal, she will because antsy and jealous. Angel gets along beautifully with her mate, Coco. Together they will play fight and many times you can see them lying side by side. Angel is very playful, and enjoys tearing up her toys and getting her butt scratched.
Angel is a low-content animal, but instead of wolf, she is suspected to be part coyote. |
