Gaia

When Gaia was just a young pup, she was rescued from an animal shelter by a vet student. For the first year of her life, she lived up at CSU with another wolf dog as her companion. The other wolf dog turned out to be too aggressive, and so was euthanized. Gaia became heart-broken and did not take well to being alone. Her owner felt she could not dedicate enough time to a lonesome animal, and so made a phone call to us. At the time, we were looking for a companion for King and decided Gaia would work out well for him.
Gaia is a sweet darling who will instantly roll over onto her back for a tummy rub when someone enters her enclosure. She strives for human attention and goes crazy for walks. When she lived with her mate, King, she was initially submissive. However, she became the dominant of the pair and would drag King by the scruff of his neck into the bushes to scold him. Gaia is extremely playful and will catch any raven slow enough for her to grab. Gaia will also run around her enclosure to show everyone how fast she is. When King passed away, Gaia moved in with the wolf dog Oscar. The two get along great, with Gaia, not suprisingly, the dominant of the two.

Gaia is a suspected low-content wolf dog, a possible cross between a wolf and German Shepard.
