| Greebo, along with his mate Hooter, lived in Virginia with a loving owner who bottle raised them. Unfortunately, one day Greebo and Hooter were in their backyard with the landlady's cat. They killed the cat in front of the landlady, and furious, the landlady ordered the animals removed or else she would have them euthanized. The owner, wanting the best for her animals, donated money to our sanctuary in exchange for us taking her animals. We agreed, and Greebo with his mate Hooter arrived at our sanctuary in August of 1997. |

Greebo is a big softy who loves to hang out with his caretaker. He is an attention hog and will desperately beg for love. If Hooter, who he still lives with, tries to get some attention, Greebo will push her out of the way, wanting it all to himself. He can affectionately gives kisses, but sometimes may snap at your face, so it is best to read his mood before receiving Greebo lovin'. Although Greebo sometimes bullies Hooter, he does care deeply for her and seems to keep an eye out for her. Greebo is currently up for adoption, and would probably spend most of his time lying on a couch watching television.
Greebo is a suspected very low-content wolf dog, with possible Alaskan Malamute. |
