Lani came to Wild Spirit due to her mate, Nakota. Nakota was going to be euthanized, but instead, once we heard about his plight, was brought to us. We took Lani along with Nakota since the two are very attached to one another. |

Lani is a very affectionate girl who loves people. She bounds up to the fence when anyone walks by, and becomes ecstatic when anyone enters her enclosure. She will usually crawl into a volunteer's lap and throw her butt up in their face to receive back rubs. She is extremely adorable when she tries to howl; most of the time, she sounds like a baby crying! Lani is very playful, especially with her mate Nakota, and the two have been seen wrestling with one another.
