Rain

Rain was purchased by a woman who wanted a wolf dog as a pet. Fortunately for Rain, her owner did take the necessary time to research the correct care of a wolf dog, and Rain was quite content. However, when her owner moved to a different state, California, they soon realized it was illegal there to own a wolf dog. The woman called us to see if we could take her, and since we had an animal that recently lost his father, we decided the two would make a good match.

Rain is a beautiful animal who is shy when first approached, but in actuality, is quite playful. If a new person enters her enclosure, she will usually run off to a distance, but once she gets to know that person, her true personality shows. She loves to play and is extremely curious. She will follow around her caretaker in her enclosure, but might jump back if startled. Since she is still considered a puppy, it is uncertain whether her personality will stay this way or slightly change as she matures. She moved in with her new mate, Ashlar when she arrived at the Sanctuary. Luckily for both of them, the two were a perfect match and were seen frolicking with one another, or affectionately cuddling together. When Ashlar passed away, Rain was partnered with a handsome new man her age, Nimoy. The two are a match made in heaven!

Rain is a mid-content wolf dog, with possible Siberian Husky.
