Shauntehey, or as known affectionately as "Shaunie", originally lived in Nevada, where she was kicked and beaten as well as being severely malnourished. She was taken in by a woman who lived in Salt Lake City, but neighborhood kids threw rocks at her in an attempt to make Shaunie howl. The woman began to seek a safe refuge for Shaunie, and brought her to the Seal Beach Animal Care Center. She stayed there until she arrived here with Amadeus and Wapahnee. |

Shauntehey is a vocal animal who will always tell you what she wants. She is the loudest animal in the morning, especially when a caretaker walks by doing morning chores. However, she is all bark and no bite. She is vocal to get attention, not because she is aggressive. Shaunie lives with Amadeus and Wapahnee, and the three are a great group. Shuanie always loves to bite Wapahnee's neck, but it does not seem to bother Wapahnee at all. When given food, Shuanie, instead of eating it, will stand in front of it and bark loudly. Despite this loud personality, Shaunie is a sweet old girl who loves when people visit. Shauntehey is up for adoption, and needs a family who can give her lots of love.
Shauntehey is a possible very low-content wolf dog, probably pure dog with a mix of Siberian Husky, German Shepard, and lab. |
