Wapahnee

Wapahnee is one of the mysterious residents we have here; no one knows her story before she was found roaming the streets of California and taken in by Seal Beach Animal Care Center in 1999. The kind folks at the center took great care of their animals, and Wapahnee was in good hands. The center is a no-kill facility, but needed the space Wapahnee using, so they wandered if we would take her. We agreed, and put her in with the two other we got from Seal Beach Animal Care Center: Amadeus and Shauntehey.

Wapahnee is a chipper girl who always has a smile on her face. She spends her time lying out in the sun, or in the morning, licking dew from the fence posts. Although small, Wapahnee loves to play and can sometimes be rough. She will nip at anything, and if you are not careful, she will get a strong grip on your arm; but she means it all in good fun. She lives with Shauntehey and Amadeus, and the three are a happy trio. At first, Shaunie felt she had show Wapahnee who is boss, but now, Shaunie is much gentler with Wapahnee. Shaunie will still bite Wapahnee's neck, but our happy girl takes it in good humor. Wapahnee is currently up for adoption, and wants a good home where she will get lots of attention.

Wapahnee is a possible very low-content wolf dog; probably pure dog.
