The smallest of the Timber wolves was called "Runt" from the day he was born. While he is no longer the smallest, we decided he needed a new name. We thought up several possibilities, including Tramp, Pongo, Pierre, Dust Bunny, Dusty, and Baba Ganoush. Finally, a suitable (and normal) name was suggested: Brutus. However, everyone was stuck on calling the little Timber cub "Runt", and so to make the transition easier, he is officially called "Brutus the Runt". |

Brutus is a sneaky little fellow who always seems to be stalking his playmates, and sneaking up behind human visitors to surprise them with an affectionate tug on their hair or clothing. He is very sweet and cuddly, and often gets over-looked by the more demanding cubs. Brutus is a fairly laid-back, go-with-the-flow type of puppy and seems to be okay wherever he is at, whomever he is with. He does have a tendency to get carsick, however, and on his first few vet visits, while enjoying his time at the Vet's office, he did not have much fun during transport. During his first trip to an outreach event, however, Brutus did fine and had no carsickness problems, so his future car rides are looking promising!
