Guided Tours

Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary offers guided tours six days a week, four times a day. Currently, the Sanctuary does not allow guests to walk around unescorted, so you must join a guided tour to see the animals. Tours range in length from roughly 45 minutes to as long as 1 1/2 hours depending on the size and age of the group, the interest of the guests, and activity of the animals. You will start your tour on the patio of our century-old log cabin and then take the fun-filled, educational walk with one with our knowledgeable tour guides. Many of the animals will approach the fence allowing you to get great photos. Topics that are covered on the tour include:

  • History of the Sanctuary and its mission
  • Wolf, dog, and wolf-dog behaviors and characteristics
  • Why wolves and wolf-dogs make poor pets
  • How we care for captive wolves
The tour is about 1/4 of a mile round-trip on a gravel and dirt path with some hills. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather.

Be sure to enjoy our beautiful log Hogan gift shop. Shop for your favorite wolf gift before or after your tour. Small snacks and beverages are sold inside the gift shop for you to enjoy while watching the wolves from our outdoor patio.

Large groups and field trips are welcome. To schedule a group tour, please visit Group Tours.
