Come For A Tour
Wild Spirit offers guided tours six days a week, four times a day. Tours range in length from roughly 45 minutes to as long as 1 1/2 hours depending on the size and age of the group, the interest of guests and activity of the animals. You'll start your tour on the patio of our century-old log cabin and then take the fun-filled, educational walk with the wolves where you'll get closer than you ever imagined! Throughout the tour, guests are offered basic wild wolf, captive wolf and wolf-dog behavior. Our mission is more thoroughly explained, and guests learn about our feeding, enrichment, veterinary and socialization procedures. The tour is about 1/4 of a mile round-trip with some hills. Be prepared to take lots of pictures, and make sure to prepare yourself for a special "howl-along" too! Large groups and field trips are welcome. Please call for reservations in advance (505-775-3304) if you plan to bring a group of over ten people. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
Be sure to enjoy our beautiful log hogon gift shop. Shop for your favorite wolf gift before your tour. Grab a quick snack for energy on the tour path and enjoy a cool drink on our patio after your tour. |

Experiencing the night song of wolves under a star-splattered New Mexico sky is sure to be an experience you will remember forever. We offer year-round camp-sites for only $10 per night. Boy and Girl Scout troops and other large groups welcome. Please call ahead for reservations. RV's are welcome, but there are no hook-ups available at this time.

Photography Tour Wild Spirit offers a unique opportunity to photographers who wish to capture the beauty of wildlife on film without the unpleasant chainlink barriers. During a private tour, photographers are escorted into several of our enclosures and given opportunity to take as many photos as they like. We do require reservations at least two weeks in advance for this tour. Pricing is $50.00 per hour with a two hour maximum. You must be eighteen-years or older. No children allowed inside or outside the enclosure. Serious photographers only, please.
If you would like to know more, please check out one photographer's experience at Libby Eglin Wildlife Photography for her first-hand account. See more photos you can capture on a photography tour at WilliamKramer.net. |
